Drill: Basketball Warm-Up

This warm-up routine is actually AWESOME.

Just by adding a basketball to some simple movements and stretches, Alan Stein completely reinvigorates the traditional warm-up. What was once the dullest part of a practice is now inspired!

Basketball Warm-Up

DESCRIPTION This basketball specific warm-up features a range of exercises, including march the ball, walk the ball, power skip, one-step vertical, lunge with overhead reach, superhero reach, and quick-foot circles.
SKILL FOCUS Fundamental Movement Skills
AGE (STAGE) Ages 8+ (Learn-to-Train)
EQUIPMENT 1 basketball (per athlete)
