Game: Baseball

This game works on both dribbling and shooting, introducing how to make shots in a pressured situation while providing a fun and competitive game to go along with it.

Despite the name, this game does not involve bats or gloves! It does involve running around in a square similar to how the baseball infield is set-up.

In terms of basketball, this game focuses on shooting and movement skills. While the kids are playing, ensure players are remaining focused while shooting and that the players dribbling around the outside are keeping their heads and eyes up to see where they are going.

For set-up, start with two teams, one in the corner (everyone with a basketball), and the other at the free-throw line (with one basketball) (see diagram below). You will only need half the court to play this game.
